FENDER "BLACKFACE" KIT This kit changes the circuit design of your late
60s or 70s vintage Silverface Fender® Amp to the original "Blackface" amps of
the early-to-mid 60s. Most players agree that the pre-CBS blackface
amps sounded much better than the silverface successors designed
by the CBS engineers. With this kit, you can take your amp back to
the Leo Fender design. In addition, you also restore the bias-setting
capability of the amp in place of the "balance" control. These modifications are completely
reversible, and no permanent changes to the chassis (such as drilling holes,
etc) are required. The kit includes 9 resistors, 4 capacitors and
instructions. Note: This kit does NOT apply to the
silverface Bantam Bassman, Bassman, Bassman Ten, Bronco, Champ, Deluxe Reverb,
Musicmaster Bassman, Princeton Reverb, or VibroChamp.

FENDER NORMAL CHANNEL MOD KIT
Many Fender amp owners never
use the Normal Channel. If you don't use
it then perhaps this Normal Channel Mod will give it new life for you by
converting it to a lead channel. Only
four components are changed. The new components filter out excess bass
frequencies that tend to boom or get muddy when severely overdriven. You will
also gain some clean headroom and maximum volume because low frequencies use up
a lot of the amps power so removing very low frequencies allows more
amplification of the remaining audio frequencies. With these four changes
you can push the Normal Channel very hard with gain and boost pedals and get a
nice, tight, modern overdrive tone. Reverb and delay effects and hot humbucker
pickups will also sound better through this "lead" channel because the reduction
in low frequencies will keep the amp from being overwhelmed. This mod will also
make the channel more pedal friendly in general. When evaluating this mod be
sure and try a boost pedal to get the gain and distortion up--this is when this
mod really shines. With an external A/B footswitch box, you can
easily switch from the Normal Channel to the Vibrato Channel. NOTE: This mod is ONLY for dual channel
amps from the Blackface and Silverface era (1973-1980), and does not apply to
the Fender Bassman. Also not applicable to single channel amp models
such as the Champ, Bronco, VibroChamp, Princeton, Princeton Reverb. Does
not apply to reissue amps.

FENDER NORMAL CHANNEL REVERB AND VIBRATO MOD
This mod incorporates the
existing reverb and vibrato on the Normal Channel of Fender vintage 60s and 70s
Blackface and Silverface amp. Some players like to use this mod in
connection with the NCM-1 mod in order to give their Normal Channel reverb,
vibrato, and a lead channel tone quality. NOTE: This mod is ONLY for dual channel
amps with reverb and vibrato in the vibrato from the Blackface and Silverface era (1973-1980), and does not apply to
the Fender Bassman. Also not applicable to single channel amp models
such as the Champ, Bronco, VibroChamp, Princeton, Princeton Reverb. Does
not apply to reissue amps. Does not apply to amps in the Blackface era
that did not have reverb, such as the Pro Amp, Showman Amp, etc.

FENDER 65 DELUXE REVERB REISSUE "DE-FLUB" KIT This kit upgrades the
first-stage power supply filtering in your Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue Model
from 1991 to the present. Also fits the 68 Custom Deluxe Reverb
from 2012 to the present.
This modification upgrades the
front end of the power supply in the DRRI to Blues Deville specs. BIG
improvement to bottom end delivery at any volume, or as we like to say,
"De-Flubs" the bass.
Applies only to the 65
Blackface Deluxe Reverb Reissue and the 68 Silverface Custom Deluxe Reverb.
Not for original vintage Deluxe Reverb amps from the 60s and 70s.

FENDER BRIGHT PULL SWITCH Some of the smaller vintage Fender
blackface and silverface amps from the 60s and 70s omitted the bright switch ...
and by doing so, they do not have the tonal options of their larger big
brothers. This mod kit adds the "Bright Switch" option to original
vintage amps like the Champ, Bronco, VibroChamp, Princeton Reverb and Deluxe
Reverb from the 60s and 70s. This pull-switch pot replaces the
volume control in these amps, and to engage the bright feature, you just pull
out on the knob. No holes to drill. The pull-switch pot comes
prewired with the bright capacitor. You just transfer and solder the 3
wires from the old pot to the new pot. Soldering is required - this
is considered an easy modification. Instructions included. You
will need two of these kits if you wish to equip both channels of a Deluxe
Reverb amp. Note: Not for the reissue Princeton Reverb or
Deluxe Reverb - original vintage amps only.

Fender® RCA VIBRATO SHORTING PLUG
Did you know that on vintage Fender® amps (Blackface, Silverface), the
reverb will work without a footswitch plugged in, but the vibrato will not?
This handy-dandy little RCA shorting plug will fix that problem, if you do not
own or prefer not to use a footswitch on your vintage 60s or 70s Fender® amp.
Just plug this little RCA plug gadget into the vibrato footswitch jack on the
back panel, and your vibrato will come alive. Turn the
intensity knob to zero to cut out the vibrato when this plug is inserted.
Note: Does not apply to Bronco, Vibro Champ, Princeton, or Princeton Reverb
amps. Inserting this plug turns the vibrato off in those models, removing
the plug turns it on.

FENDER "S-L-O-W-E-R VIBRATO" KIT This kit changes the circuit design
of the vibrato to slow down the slow end of the vibrato speed control
considerably, giving a much wider usable speed range. Fast
speed remains virtually unchanged, and the intensity remains the same.
Jazz players especially love the slower vibrato. The official Fender vibrato "tick cure" is also included in this kit, as listed
on a Fender service bulletin from several years ago. This kit is applicable
to all two-channel vintage Blackface and Silverface amps from the 1960-1970 era.
This kit does not apply to Bronco, Princeton or VibroChamp
circuits. Kit includes necessary parts and instructions.
Soldering capability is required.
