Drop-in replacement long life LED replacement lamp for
pilot lamps. Fits Fender amps which are designed for the P-47 type
incandescent bulb (including most Fender amps from the 1950s through the
present). The LED
replacement is long lasting, runs much cooler, and is substantially brighter
than the P-47 incandescent bulb. If less brightness is desired,
install a series resistor feeding the lamp socket (1/4 or ½ watt, value
between 560Ω and 1KΩ). Sold individually. Add new pizzazz
to your amp with a brighter lamp on the front panel, and one which pays for
itself in the long run with exceptionally long life. Works on 6
volts, AC or DC.
Color is warm white. NOTE: NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE WITH THE

5mm DIFFUSED LED - CHOICE OF COLORS
Standard 5mm (3/16") diameter diffused LED found in many guitar amplifiers
and effects pedals. Available in white, red, blue, green, or yellow. This 5mm size is commonly called the T-1-3/4
size. On LEDs the longer leg (the anode) goes to the
positive voltage supply. LEDs need a DC supply voltage and a resistor in series with them
to limit current. For a 9V supply, a 470 ohm resistor works well.

FENDER SQUARE 5mmX5mm DIFFUSED RED LED
Replaces the channel-switching indicator LED or the power
indicator in several Fender
amps and also in many Fender footswitches. Replaces original Fender

part of the circuitry in many Fender footswitches, and its failure often means

The purple color on this lamp jewel is toward the
cool end of the purple/violet range - so it has more of a bluish tint
to the purple color. In fact, the lamp jewel cover looks blue if the light
is not turned on. If you prefer a warmer tone (toward the red/pink end of
the scale), choose the FLA-124V violet lamp assembly. Not available with
the LED option, as the color when using an LED is a deep blue rather than
