Return Policies - Please Read Carefully!

• All returns require a Return Goods Authorization Number issued from Studio Sound Electronics. Please contact us for an RA number. Products returned without this authorization will be refused. 

• Returns will be assessed a 15% restocking fee.

• Handling fees and freight charges are not refundable.

• Freight charges for all returns are the responsibility of the customer.

• Special orders or closeouts are not eligible for return.

• Returns will not be accepted after 90 days after sale, regardless of reason.

• Returns which are damaged in return shipment because they were improperly packaged will not receive a refund.  Shipping agencies are very particular about covering damage loss claims, and they require us to provide photos of the damage, the package, and how the contents were packed and protected.   Damage claims for improper or insufficient packing are nearly always denied by USPS, UPS and FedEx.

• Returns which are lost or damaged in return shipment through the fault of the shipper will require the customer to file a claim with the shipping agent.   Only senders can file claims with shippers, as per the shipping agency policy.

• The US Postal Service, UPS, and FedEx provide insurance against loss or damage automatically to $100.00 coverage.   If you are shipping a product which exceeds that value, consider adding additional insurance for your protection.

Once you have received your 6-digit Return Authorization number from us, put it on the outside of the package (although not as part of the address).   Ship the package via USPS, UPS or FedEx to:

Subject to the limitations set forth in this Agreement, Studio Sound Electronics agrees to transfer to Customer, at the time of sale and to the extent transferable, whatever warrantees Studio Sound Electronics receives from the manufacturers of the product(s) Studio Sound Electronics sold to Customer, if any.  However, the limited warranties set forth herein do not cover defects, damage or failure caused by: 1) a defect or failure in any product not supplied by Studio Sound Electronics; 2) use of the Product for a purpose or in a manner for which the product was not intended or designed; 3) improper handling by any other person or entity; 4) improper storage, installation, maintenance, alteration, modification or repair by any other person or entity; 5) abuse, abnormal use or accidents;  6) post-delivery breakage or 7) and the other limitations or exclusions set forth by the manufacturers with respect to any warranties extended by them.

Studio Sound Electronics does not extend and in fact expressly disclaims any and all other warranties of any kind, express, implied, statutory or otherwise including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. 

Studio Sound Electronics' liability on any claim for loss or damage arising out of or connected in any manner with the supplying of any products or services hereunder, or the sale, resale, operation or use allocable to such products or part thereof involved in the claim, whether based on contract, warranty, tort (including negligence and for property damage and death) or other grounds, shall not in any event exceed the price allocable to such products or part thereof involved in the claim, regardless of cause or fault. In no event shall Studio Sound Electronics be responsible to customer or any third party for any consequential, incidental or indirect damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenues, sales, data, business goodwill or use, even if Studio Sound Electronics has been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage. The parties agree that without this limitation of liability, Studio Sound Electronics would not have agreed to the price or terms and conditions of this agreement. The limitation of liability set forth herein applies both to products and services purchased or otherwise provided hereunder. In no event shall Studio Sound Electronics' liability exceed the price of the products and services purchased or otherwise provided. 

If and to the extent Studio Sound Electronics provides Customer with advice or other assistance concerning any products supplied hereunder, or any equipment, system or the like in which the product may be installed, Studio Sound Electronics' giving of such advice or assistance will not subject Studio Sound Electronics to any liability, whether based on contract, warranty, tort (including negligence) or other grounds.

The products sold by Studio Sound Electronics are not authorized for use in high risk applications, including but not limited to, life safety, life support, life-sustaining, surgical, human implant, nuclear or aircraft applications, or for any use or application in which the failure of a single component could create a situation in which property damage, personal injury or death is likely to occur. Customer assumes all risk and liability for use of Studio Sound Electronics' products in any such applications and agrees to indemnify and defend Studio Sound Electronics against any and all damages, costs and expenses that may be incurred, including without limitation attorneys fees and costs relating to any lawsuit or threatened lawsuit, arising out of the use of products in unauthorized applications.
